mini Moto
Here is a little about Mini Moto:
Mini motos are miniature motorcycles which have a small petrol powered 2 stroke engine, the basic mini motos produce around 3-4hp which are still capable of up to 40mph. But the faster ones which are about 5- 11bhp which I ride go to about 70mph.Only the track time is cheap! These bikes cost up to £2000 with high maintenance costs to stay competitive.
These bikes are the cheapest way of getting into motor sport, and a great place to start, with the likes of Valentino Rossi and other famous super bike riders starting out with mini motos.
Mini Moto & Me:
2007 I rode 3 bikes in 2 championships. I rode in 4.2, 6.2 and proddy classes in both the SEMRC and MMRA (the British). I finished 1st in the 4.2 class, 3rd in 6.2 class and 4th overall in the proddy class. In the British championship I did 4 out of 8 rounds and managed to come 2nd in the 4.2 class! Winning each round I did attend. In 2008 I may do some mini moto meets but Honda 125 will take priority.
